APRIL 8    7.00pm – 9.00pm

VICTORIA WALKS with Charmaine Chew

Maroondah Council, Braeside Ave, Ringwood Meeting Room 4

Victoria Walks  is an exciting new non-profit organisation supported by VicHealth to promote walking for every day purposes (to shops, to school, around  the neighbourhood). We want to create more vibrant, supportive, strong and sustainable communities.

Victoria Walks supports communities to make their streets and neighbourhoods better

for walking (see our website for some great ideas). This can be as easy as planting a tree, having a street party, or forming a Walking Action Group (WAG) to bring real changes to your local area (such as improving crossings and slowing down traffic).

Why walk?

Getting more Victorians back on their feet means healthier and happier communities, vibrant local economies and a greener planet. Every journey begins with the first step!
